Everything continues the same as it ever was。Sorry, I am super busy this week so I don’t have time to do my usual over-indulgent reviews for everything。 Luckily my synopsis of this title as described above is completely true。Minus Igarashi eventually asking about Takeda’s conversation with her grandfather, the two continue to edge a little closer by the smaller of degrees otherwise through various moments, some cuter than others。Kazama continues to not notice Sakurai enough, although they get a Everything continues the same as it ever was。Sorry, I am super busy this week so I don’t have time to do my usual over-indulgent reviews for everything。 Luckily my synopsis of this title as described above is completely true。Minus Igarashi eventually asking about Takeda’s conversation with her grandfather, the two continue to edge a little closer by the smaller of degrees otherwise through various moments, some cuter than others。Kazama continues to not notice Sakurai enough, although they get a smidgen closer here and there as well。 There’s at least one good joke amongst all this from Sakurai attempting to lure Kazama by appealing to his love of a particular pull in his gacha game。Mona gets a cat and this turns into the weirdest fanservice ever, plus it doesn’t even get a full artist drawing, making it very strange by any measure (this book does seem heavily butt focused for what little service there is)。 Mona’s still so odd that I consequently still like her though。The best pairing, honestly, is Sakurai’s little brother and his unending crush on Sakurai and Igarashi’s older friend Natsumi, which is the ‘young kid in the throes of puberty drawn to a super cool older woman’。It’s pretty clear that Natsumi is just teasing him, but they’re still both pretty friendly with one another and she lets him have his dream of a crush that won’t ever go anywhere (I pray, at least, manga can be a strange land sometimes)。 It’s a pleasantly nostalgic reflection on growing up。Watching the two of them hang out in an arcade, or when he gets a hoodie to match hers, well, it’s pretty charmingly innocent in a way that is oddly sweeter than the primary pairings of this series。 Natsumi might have a little too much fun during the costume shop visit though, I admit。3 stars - So, uh, yeah。 This doesn’t really do anything new, or exceptional, and keeps on doing what it always does as a matter of course。 There’s really precious little beyond that - it certainly entertains, but plot progression is nonexistent, and it’s a little ho-hum as a result。 。。。more
